Moon Over buffalo is the story of the comedic misadventures that occur when the Hays, a middle-aged acting couple whose marriage and careers are both on the rocks, suddenly think they are about to have a last chance at stardom. Mass confusion is the result as the identities of both individuals and the characters in the plays they are trying to perform are muddled up and misunderstood.
